About Artisan & Fox

Artisan & Fox is an e-commerce marketplace for extraordinary craftsmanship. We work to connect artisans across the Middle East, South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia to global markets.

From the advent of the industrial loom to mass-production in today's factories, artisan work is increasingly undervalued and techniques with centuries of history risk disappearing completely. Artisan & Fox seeks to use design and e-commerce to help artisans move up the value chain, earning higher unit wages for their work.

Our anthropological, bespoke approach in working with artisan communities guarantees our artisan partners above fair-trade prices and builds their capacity to move up the value chain.

My Role

As CEO & Co-founder of Artisan & Fox, I led business development, growth and partnerships.

I also curate artisan goods and design new product lines with our artisan partners, some of which you can find in Objects.

Artisan & Fox has worked with the UNHCR and their MADE51 initiative to launch the world’s first web-store dedicated to refugee craft.

Artisan & Fox is privileged to have been featured by Vogue Business, Harpers' Bazaar and London Evening Standard. We’re also proud to partner with the UNHCR #WithRefugees Coalition, and obtained grant funding from the London School of Economics.

With Artisan & Fox, I’m fortunate to have travelled across the globe to work closely with artisan communities — from the old city of Kabul and refugee settlements in Lebanon — to idyllic villages across the Mekong River.
